Job Description
Key Responsibilities
HSSE Management & Compliance
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the HSSE management system for China operations and projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, Group policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain a tracking system to ensure all HSSE licenses and permits remain valid.
- Support sites in collecting and identifying updated legal requirements, ensuring proper communication and execution.
Performance, Audits & Risk Control
- Contribute to HSSE targets, KPIs and recommend initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Participate in regular HSSE surveillance visits and audits; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented on time.
- Verify effectiveness of controls for all work, especially high‑risk activities (electrical, work at height, confined space, etc.).
- Provide HSSE advisory support to all sites across the asset lifecycle (development, construction, commissioning, operation, decommissioning).
Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Participate in incident investigations using 5M1E and 5-Whys methodologies.
- Review investigation reports to ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are adequate; track closure of action plans.
Training & Capability Building
- Identify HSSE training needs and collaborate with HR/training teams to deliver induction, certified HSSE training and awareness programs.
- Ensure effective implementation of Risk Assessment; support site competency building through training, inspections and documentation review.
Other Duties
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the company.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fluent English writing and acceptable spoken English (CET-6 preferred).
- Leadership training is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Certified Safety Engineer (注安证) preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of HSSE management experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, or Wastewater industries; renewable energy experience preferred.
- Familiar with power industry registrations and national requirements.
- Knowledge of electrical safety.
