Key Responsibilities

HSSE Management & Compliance

Assist in implementing and maintaining the HSSE management system for China operations and projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, Group policies and standards.
Develop and maintain a tracking system to ensure all HSSE licenses and permits remain valid.
Support sites in collecting and identifying updated legal requirements, ensuring proper communication and execution.

Performance, Audits & Risk Control

Contribute to HSSE targets, KPIs and recommend initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Participate in regular HSSE surveillance visits and audits; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented on time.
Verify effectiveness of controls for all work, especially high‑risk activities (electrical, work at height, confined space, etc.).
Provide HSSE advisory support to all sites across the asset lifecycle (development, construction, commissioning, operation, decommissioning).

Incident Investigation & Reporting

Participate in incident investigations using 5M1E and 5-Whys methodologies.
Review investigation reports to ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are adequate; track closure of action plans.

Training & Capability Building

Identify HSSE training needs and collaborate with HR/training teams to deliver induction, certified HSSE training and awareness programs.
Ensure effective implementation of Risk Assessment; support site competency building through training, inspections and documentation review.

Experience

3+ years of HSSE management experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, or Wastewater industries; renewable energy experience preferred.
Familiar with power industry registrations and national requirements.
Knowledge of electrical safety.
