Job Description
Research & Enquiries
- Serve as the main contact for legal and business research requests.
- Conduct legal, commercial, client, and market research using internal and external sources.
- Summarise and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
- Log all enquiries to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
Library & Information Resource Management
- Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the firm’s library resources, including books, journals, loose‑leafs, databases, and digital tools.
- Maintain the library catalogue and ensure resources are up‑to‑date, accessible, and aligned with practice needs.
- Evaluate, recommend, and help implement new research tools and information systems.
- Promote effective use of library resources across the office.
Current Awareness
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments.
- Deliver tailored news updates using current awareness platforms.
- Share relevant insights with the wider information team.
Training & Support
- Provide training to lawyers and business teams on research tools and library resources.
- Support onboarding of new joiners on information systems.
- Promote best practices in research and information usage.
Professional Development
- Build expertise in legal and business research.
- Participate in practice meetings and global information networks.
- Share knowledge and contribute to team development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; information/library science qualification preferred.

- Hands‑on experience managing library resources or information collections.
- Strong technical skills with research tools and information systems.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
