Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven OEM BD Manager to spearhead business development initiatives for automotive and motorcycle lubricant OEM cooperation. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing partnerships with key Chinese OEMs, driving bidding processes, and supporting global expansion projects across Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. The ideal candidate combines solid commercial acumen with a basic grasp of lubricant technical fundamentals to align with client demands and cross-regional team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute OEM BD strategies targeting core Chinese automotive/motorcycle OEMs.
2. Lead end-to-end OEM cooperation processes, from project pitching and bidding to contract finalization and project kick-off.
3. Support Chinese OEMs’ global business expansion by providing lubricant supporting solutions for overseas markets (Europe, Asia-Pacific).
4. Collaborate with overseas technical teams to address domestic OEM needs, bridging communication gaps between commercial and technical sides.
5. Engage in commercial negotiations with OEM clients, especially on cost-reduction topics, to balance business goals and client requirements.
6. Work with technical experts to conduct joint interviews for team building, and drive the "business-first, technology-following" team expansion rhythm.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, identify new OEM cooperation opportunities, and report on BD progress and market insights regularly.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
2. Proven work experience in OEM business development within automotive/motorcycle lubricant industry, with a track record of cooperating with well-known Chinese OEMs.
3. Hands-on experience in OEM bidding, project kick-off, and cross-regional business coordination.
4. Basic understanding of lubricant technical fundamentals:
◦ Core properties of engine oil, transmission oil, and brake fluid
◦ Lubricant performance requirements under high-speed, high-shear, high-temperature conditions
◦ Principles of oil film lubrication protection, and key characteristics of brake fluid (high temperature resistance, anti-evaporation)
5. Familiar with the technical differences between automotive and motorcycle lubricants, and the operational logic of domestic OEMs’ overseas expansion.
6. Strong commercial negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cost-reduction demands with OEM clients.
7. Excellent cross-cultural communication and coordination skills, capable of working with overseas technical teams.
8. Result-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment.
