Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Management
Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to semiconductor manufacturing.
Align procurement activities with fab production schedules and corporate objectives.
Drive cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
Direct Procurement (Fab Materials & Equipment)
Manage sourcing of silicon wafers, photoresists, specialty gases, chemicals, and consumables.
Oversee procurement of fab equipment, spare parts, and maintenance services.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure supply reliability.
Indirect Procurement
Oversee procurement of facility services, IT systems, and operational support.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors.
Ensure compliance with sustainability and safety standards.
Supplier Management
Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
Build long-term strategic partnerships with global semiconductor suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk & Compliance
Identify supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, raw material shortages) and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, trade laws, and ethical standards.
Support internal and external audits.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor procurement team members.
Set KPIs and monitor team performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance dashboards.
Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor materials, fab equipment, and global supply chains.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred (for global operations).
