APAC Sourcing Manager 2

Key Responsibilities Regional Sourcing Strategy Develop and implement sourcing strategies across APAC markets aligned with global procurement objectives. Monitor regional market trends, supplier landscapes, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and risk mitigation. Supplier Management Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation in APAC. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize cost and quality. Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers. Category Management Manage both direct (materials, components) and indirect (services, IT, facilities) procurement categories. Collaborate with global category leads to ensure alignment and consistency. Drive standardization and best practices across APAC sourcing operations. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, production, finance, and supply chain teams to support business needs. Provide sourcing insights and supplier intelligence to stakeholders. Support new product launches and regional expansion projects. Risk & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Identify supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, raw material shortages) and develop mitigation strategies. Support audits and maintain accurate procurement records. Team Leadership & Development Mentor and guide regional sourcing teams. Set KPIs and monitor team performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.   Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or global role. Strong knowledge of APAC supply markets and international procurement practices. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.). Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in English; Mandarin or other APAC languages is a plus.
