Compiles three year sales plan & cost budgets and agrees with the VP/Director/Manager. Communicates the plan to relevant teams and ensures it is on target through regular reviews.
Responsible for increasing sales and gross margin of the business in line with objectives and strategic plan. Has the autonomy and authority on pricing / margin decisions where applicable and significant input at key customers that have a large impact on the profits of the business & International as a whole.
To develop new business by identifying potential sales opportunities and by following up new leads and sample requests.
Integral part of the process which determines the strategy for the market areas for the next 1-3 years and communicates the plans back to the relevant parties.
To visit customers in order to explain, promote and recommend products within designated markets and regions. To coordinate projects and development work with customers.
To promote new and existing products by attending exhibitions and undertaking marketing projects.
