China Finance Manager

Finance Management • Ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting including financial report and profitability analysis. Work alongside the third-party accountant to ensure that the Megi trial balance is reconciled to the Group’s financial reporting system. • Prepare the annual financial statements and returns as required for local regulations • Balance Sheet reconciliations • Ensure that the inventory held at third party logistics providers reconciles to the system. • Calculate the expected margin on sales for the local entity and the group position. • Accounts Payable including handling all Vendor invoices checking against PO / service consultation and paid in line with company payment policies. Ensure accurate coding of these expenses. • Ensure sales invoices including Fapiao invoices issued accurately and on a timely basis from information provided by Customer Service. Ensure debtors pay on time and stock is released post receipt of payment for customers on a prepayment basis. • Reconcile the Alibaba wallet for the flagship CBEC store and prepare Alibaba invoicing worksheet on a monthly basis. • Support e-commerce TP on settlement reconciliation of CBEC sales on Alibaba, Red Book, Tiktok etc., invoicing and bank transfers to TP. • Load supplier invoices, customer receipts and GL entries to Dynamics on a monthly basis • Prepare accruals for month end and load accrual entries to Dynamics on a monthly basis • Ensure bank reconciliations done on Dynamics on a monthly basis • Provide month end details to Group Accountant for group consolidation on a monthly basis • Ensure Corporate tax, VAT and Customs duties are filed and paid on time • Preparation of budgets and forecasts. • Liaise with third-party accountant and auditor to complete annual audit • Handle employee expense reimbursements. Ensure employees get paid in time. • Establish and review internal control procedures. • Liaise with banks / auditors and all government departments. • Provide advice to management in all aspects of accounting and finance including legal issues, changes in regulatory environment.
