Developer Education Manager

JOB OVERVIEW: We bring forward-thinking people together to build the future of computing, on Arm. Enabling developers globally to work quickly and effectively with Arm technology matters greatly to us! We do this by working with experts inside and outside the business to build and curate a growing range of learning content for current and future developers. We are seeking a Manager for Developer Education in China, to join the China Ecosystem team in Shanghai, working across our outstanding global teams of engineers, developers, educationalists, academics and marketing professionals. You will lead the development and curation of technical content plans that meet the needs of developers in China, enabling a growing developer ecosystem to do their best work on Arm. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with experts across Arm, our partners, academic and developer communities in China to develop roadmaps of technical content and solutions, which anticipate and solve developers’ problems, driving adoption and consumption of Arm and Arm-based technologies - Ensure plans reflect the real, validated needs of our partner organisations and our developer communities - Deliver on solution roadmaps, working with people inside and outside Arm, such as authors, developer communities, Arm partner relationship managers and publishers - Build and maintain a diverse network of industry and academic collaborators, channel partners, and developer champions - Engage with universities, research institutes, and government bodies to develop and coordinate tailored education programs to grow the pipeline of future developers working on Arm - Federate related efforts across the organisation to ensure an outstanding user experience for developers working with and on Arm - Design and report regularly on key performance indicators to team members and leaders across the wider organization and beyond; pivot and adjust plans accordingly - Communicate and advocate effectively for your work with teams across Arm and beyond, collaborating closely with colleagues in a variety of levels within the organisation

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : - Degree-level knowledge and skills in a Computer Science/Engineering (or related) subject - Experience managing the development of demonstrational solutions, education and training content in computing for developers - Proven connections and influence in developer communities, academia, and industry organizations - Experience working effectively within a highly technical and multi-disciplinary context, drawing on expertise from different sources to drive high business impact - Communication, mediation, and presentation skills “NICE TO HAVE” SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : - Software/computer engineering experience in a professional context e.g. cloud-based software engineering, embedded software development - Experience working with various communities of developers - Technical expertise across a range of Arm technologies IN RETURN: - Work in a dedicated team of engineers, educators, trainers, and publishers solving engaging and diverse problems connected with training and skills development - Make a real-world impact, working alongside industry-leading engineers to support software developers across a huge spectrum of applications including AI and machine learning, graphics and gaming, and more
