We are seeking a seasoned Legal Director to lead the company’s legal function and provide comprehensive legal support across the entire value chain—from R&D to commercialization. This role requires a strategic, business-minded legal professional who can establish and strengthen the company’s legal governance framework, manage legal risks, and enable sustainable global growth. Key Responsibilities Serve as the key legal advisor to senior management and business units on all legal and compliance matters. Lead and manage a small but high-performing legal team (currently two direct reports). Provide end-to-end legal support across discovery, clinical development, manufacturing, business development, and commercialization stages. Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including licensing, collaboration, procurement, and commercial agreements. Develop, implement, and continuously optimize legal policies, templates, and compliance processes. Proactively manage legal risks and provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice to enable business decisions. Partner cross-functionally with R&D, BD, commercial, and corporate teams on strategic initiatives and transactions. Stay up to date with evolving pharmaceutical regulations and global compliance standards.

职位要求

Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); Master’s or JD from a reputable international institution preferred. • Minimum 12 years of legal experience, including significant time in multinational pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare companies. • Proven experience supporting both R&D and commercial operations within the life sciences industry. • Demonstrated ability to build or enhance legal frameworks and compliance systems in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills in both English and Chinese. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-culturally and influence senior stakeholders. • Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
