BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
This position will be responsible for accurate and timely revenue/account receivable booking, VAT invoice, AR encashment, collection cash forecast, analysis of gross profitability & aging AR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
● Guarantee the reliability and consistency of the accounting information for revenue and gross margin accounting cycles aligned with local regulations, group company norms, and IFRS standards.
● Prepare, analyze, and explain the monthly financial reports of revenue, gross margin, account receivable, and bad debt for the local legal entities.
● Forecast the AR remittance situation and analyze accounts receivable.
● Handle requests for accounts receivable from auditors, business teams, and customers, and train collaborators.
● Coach and supervise the work results of accounting assistants to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and receivables collection.
● Assist in the finance system development and implementation as assigned.
You can take one or more of the following tasks:
● Provide analytical and decision support to FP&A by reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing the monthly financial reports (PnL and balance sheet). Actively communicate with business teams, answer financial questions, and collect/provide the required information. Monitor aging Current Assets/Liability of your scope and follow up actions.
● Participate in finance team projects, including ensuring compliance, optimizing routine, building finance autonomy, leading digital transformation, organizing team activities, etc.
● Optimize and visualize the presence of data reports by practicing data analysis capabilities on BI tools.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
● Degree holder majored in accounting/finance. Professional certificates or accounting working experience are preferred.
● Strong communication skills. Fluency in English and Chinese, French is an advantage.
● Proficient in Excel, and other data/technical skills (accounting tools, Google Scripts, VBA, RPA, Tableau, etc.) are a plus.
● Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multi-task independently under pressure. Very result-oriented to deliver accurate and quality work and meet deadlines.
● You are dynamic, careful, service-oriented, and proactive. Have good problem-solving skills with a strong sense of responsibility.
● Team player. Sports lover.
● Willing to travel on business. Being willing to relocate to another city/country is an advantage.
