Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning Develop and implement production and supply chain planning strategies. Align planning activities with company goals, customer demand, and market trends. Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems. Production & Supply Chain Planning Prepare master production schedules and capacity plans. Balance demand and supply to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages. Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Demand Forecasting Work with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans accordingly. Identify risks and opportunities in demand fluctuations. Inventory Management Ensure optimal inventory levels across warehouses and production sites. Implement policies to reduce excess stock and improve turnover. Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, service level, and stock-out rates. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with procurement, production, finance, and logistics teams to align planning with business needs. Provide planning insights and reports to senior management. System & Process Optimization Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning activities. Drive automation and digitalization of planning processes. Implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.   Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in production or supply chain planning, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of planning processes, demand forecasting, and inventory management. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.). Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in English; Mandarin or other languages is a plus for global operations.
