Job summary
Responsible for the management and development of a large portfolio of healthcare journals and accountable for the performance and results of the journal group that manages approximately +80 society and proprietary titles. Provides leadership and guidance to associate directors, managers, and/or professionals based on organizational goals and company direction. Contributes to the development of short and long-range strategic plans and budgets. Develops policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Determines organizational objectives and plans guided by a divisional strategy. Direct the implementation of growth strategies for journal acquisitions. Direct journals, journal renewals, acquisitions, business and product development, and staff management process. Assists in the development of functional strategy. May interpret, execute, and recommend modifications to organizational policies. Has a team of publishers, production editors, business development & rights mangers, journal analytics, etc.

• Strengthen ties with key clients and stakeholders; build and enhance strategic partnership with societies, associations, research institutions and related government agencies.
• Oversee the creation of groundbreaking content strategies.
• Ensure optimal performance outcomes across the publishing teams.
• Lead transformative process improvements.
• Champion programs for the development of leadership talent.
Job Requirement:
• Master’s degree and above
•More than 10 years related working experience and 5 years leadership experience
