QA Engineer-Consumer

Key Responsibilities Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for consumer applications (web, mobile, APIs). Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing across multiple platforms. Validate user journeys, checkout flows, payments, subscriptions, and account management features. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API layers (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress). Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to clarify requirements and identify edge cases. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Ensure performance, security, and accessibility considerations are included in testing. Support release validation, smoke testing, and production monitoring.
