Sales Operations Coordinator – FMCG
Role Summary
The Sales Operations Coordinator supports the commercial team by ensuring smooth execution of sales processes, accurate data management, and efficient coordination across sales, supply chain, finance, and marketing. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, improving sales productivity, and enabling faster decision‑making in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations Support
Coordinate daily sales activities, including order processing, pricing updates, and customer master data management.
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports to support business planning.
Track sales KPIs and provide weekly/monthly dashboards for the commercial team.
Support the execution of trade promotions, discounts, and channel programs.
2. Data & Reporting Management
Consolidate sell‑in, sell‑out, and inventory data from distributors and retailers.
Ensure data accuracy across CRM/ERP systems and support system troubleshooting.
Prepare business review materials for internal meetings and customer presentations.
Monitor promotional performance and provide insights for improvement.
3. Cross‑Functional Coordination
Liaise with supply chain to ensure product availability, forecast alignment, and timely delivery.
Work with finance on pricing, claims validation, and trade spend reconciliation.
Support marketing with POSM allocation, campaign execution tracking, and channel activation.
Coordinate with distributors and key accounts to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
4. Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and propose improvements.
Support implementation of new tools, systems, and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, pricing governance, and audit requirements.
5. Administrative & Project Support
Manage sales documentation, contracts, and internal approvals.
Assist in organizing sales meetings, training sessions, and annual planning workshops.
Support ad‑hoc commercial projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sales operations.
Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) preferred.
