Your new company
Our client is a leading global consumer brand with a strong presence across China. With diversified business lines and an ambitious growth plan, the company is now seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support to its commercial operations.
Your new role
You will act as a key business partner to senior management, providing full-spectrum legal support to sales, marketing, procurement, logistics, and strategic projects. The role also involves contract review and negotiation, compliance management, and dispute resolution oversight.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive legal support to the China Business Unit (CBU), including sales, distribution, asset transactions, marketing, procurement, logistics, and M&A.

Advise on major disputes, litigation, investigations, and crisis management.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts; offer practical and business-oriented legal solutions.

Lead initiatives to streamline internal policies, compliance processes, and risk control frameworks.

Support key business projects and act as a trusted advisor to commercial and functional teams.

Coach and supervise a small legal team.
职位要求
What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Law from a top-tier Chinese university (e.g., CUPL, SWUPL, ECUPL, ZUEL, WHU, SYSU, or other 985/211 law schools); LL.M. from a reputable overseas university preferred.

Passed PRC Bar; solid legal fundamentals and commercial sense are essential.

Minimum 8 years of legal experience in law firm and/or in-house roles; FMCG or retail industry background preferred.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to provide clear, business-oriented advice.

Fluent in both Mandarin and English.

A proactive, practical, and collaborative working style – able to say not just “no” but “how to yes”.

Experience in people management (currently leading a small team).
