Senior Sourcing Specialist

Category Strategy Development — Build and implement sourcing strategies for food additives, including sweeteners, preservatives, emulsifiers, flavor enhancers, and other functional ingredients. Supplier Management — Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers; maintain strong relationships to ensure stable supply, compliance, and continuous improvement. Cost Optimization — Lead cost analysis, benchmarking, and negotiation to achieve competitive pricing and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements. Market Intelligence — Monitor global market trends, raw material price movements, regulatory changes, and supply risks to support business decisions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production teams to support new product development and ensure ingredient compliance. Risk Management — Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans, including dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and long‑term agreements. Contract & Compliance Management — Lead contract negotiations, ensure adherence to company policies, and maintain documentation aligned with food safety and regulatory requirements. Project Leadership — Drive sourcing projects, supplier audits, and cost‑saving initiatives to support business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science, Chemistry, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields. 5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in food additives, ingredients, or FMCG industries. Strong understanding of food additive categories, global supply markets, and regulatory requirements. Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships. Ability to analyze data, conduct cost modeling, and generate actionable insights. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
