Global Organizational Development (OD) Senior Manager, HR
Position Overview
The Organizational Development (OD) Manager plays a critical role in shaping the organizational capabilities required to support the company’s growth in the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on designing and implementing OD strategies, talent development programs, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and change management frameworks that enhance performance, agility, and innovation across the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organizational Design & Effectiveness
Partner with business leaders to assess organizational structures and recommend design solutions that support strategic priorities, R&D productivity, commercial excellence, and operational efficiency.
Conduct organizational diagnostics, workforce analysis, and capability assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support integration, restructuring, and transformation initiatives across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
2. Talent & Leadership Development
Design and implement talent development programs tailored to the pharmaceutical industry, including leadership pipelines, scientific talent development, and high‑potential programs.
Facilitate competency model development for key roles (e.g., R&D, regulatory, medical affairs, manufacturing).
Lead succession planning processes and partner with HRBPs to ensure robust talent pipelines.
3. Change Management
Develop and execute change management strategies for major organizational initiatives such as digital transformation, new product launches, regulatory changes, and operational excellence programs.
Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on managing change and building a culture of agility and innovation.
4. Culture & Employee Engagement
Drive culture‑building initiatives aligned with the company’s mission in healthcare innovation and patient impact.
Lead employee engagement surveys, action planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
Promote cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge‑sharing across scientific and commercial teams.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in OD, HRBP, talent development, or organizational effectiveness roles.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
Proven track record in leading organizational change and development initiatives.
