Key Responsibilities
1. Category Strategy & Planning
Develop annual category strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
Define assortment architecture, product lifecycle, and category role positioning.
Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights research.
2. Assortment & Product Management
Build and optimize the Hardline product assortment to meet customer needs.
Identify new product opportunities and lead product onboarding.
Manage SKU productivity, rationalization, and category performance.
3. Supplier Management
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive cost, terms, and service levels.
Develop long-term supplier partnerships and manage vendor performance.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
4. Pricing & Profitability
Develop pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and margin goals.
Monitor cost changes, market price movements, and promotional effectiveness.
Manage category P&L, including sales, margin, inventory turnover, and OTB planning.
