Finance Manager – APAC Overhead Controlling
Role Mission
Lead APAC overhead controlling to ensure strong governance, accurate forecasting, and continuous cost optimization, driving efficiency and value creation across regional functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overhead Governance & Business Partnering
Own the governance of APAC functional overheads, including budgeting, tracking, and compliance.
Ensure consistent cost allocation, cross‑charging mechanisms, and reporting standards across markets.
Act as a trusted finance partner to regional functions, providing challenge, insights, and financial guidance.
Enforce cost discipline aligned with annual operating plan targets and efficiency principles.
2. Forecasting, Planning & Performance Steering
Lead annual budget, rolling forecast, and long‑term planning processes for overheads.
Challenge business assumptions with strong financial logic and commercial understanding.
Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
Ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality financial submissions.
3. Cost Optimization & Efficiency Delivery
Identify and drive productivity, savings, and efficiency initiatives across functions.
Build transparency on cost drivers and benchmark performance across markets.
Track savings delivery and ensure full P&L realization.
Continuously optimize cost structure and evaluate ROI of functional spending.
4. Data Analytics & Insight Generation
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for management.
Develop driver‑based models, variance analysis, and trend analytics.
Strengthen data quality, reporting automation, and process efficiency.
Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to enhance analytical depth and scalability.
5. Reporting, Communication & Process Excellence
Deliver concise, executive‑ready financial outputs for regional management reviews.
Communicate risks, opportunities, and performance updates in a structured, impactful manner.
Influence stakeholders through fact‑based storytelling and insight‑driven recommendations.
Simplify and standardize planning, reporting, and control processes across the region.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance/Accounting; professional certification preferred
5–8+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering
Solid experience in overhead management, forecasting, and performance steering
Experience in regional or multinational environments preferred
Fluent English proficiency
Strong user capability in financial systems, Excel, and PowerPoint
