Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement commodity strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements for assigned commodities
Monitor market trends, raw material pricing, and supply risks to proactively adjust strategies
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to support new product development and cost reduction initiatives
Drive supplier performance management, including audits, scorecards, and continuous improvement programs
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Report commodity performance metrics (KPIs) and provide insights to senior management
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster innovation and long-term partnerships
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
5–8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or commodity management, preferably in a multinational environment
Strong knowledge of commodity markets, supplier ecosystems, and cost drivers
Proven negotiation and contract management skills
Experience with procurement systems (ERP, SRM, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
