Key responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Marketing team to deepen market understanding in your assigned region.
2. Identify and generate new business opportunities across China (through prospecting, fairs, networking, pro-active visits, etc.).
3. Qualify leads by assessing key criteria: potential customer profiles, financing options, strategic fit, timeline, etc.
4. Develop a thorough understanding of each sales context: decision-making process, stakeholders, competition, customer pain points, configuration needs, etc.
5. Support and coordinate local agents across the region to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
6. Organize and lead internal sales team efforts, ensuring the right experts are involved at the right time
7. Work closely with the Sales Excellence Team to manage RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
8. Build and present strong pricing strategies that balance margin optimization with deal success, in line with commercial policies.
9. Prepare internal Quotation Boards in collaboration with Sales Excellence for non-standard or non-released solutions.
10. Cultivate strong relationships with all key stakeholders involved in decision-making, with the objective of becoming the preferred vendor.
11. Ensure a seamless handover to the Contract Specialists for Terms Sheet and Final Contract negotiation.
Profile Requirements
1. Ideally a proven experience in complex solution sales – ideally in medical devices or radiotherapy equipment.
2. Deep understanding of Chinese business culture and comfort working in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments.
3. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage long sales cycles.
4. Willingness to travel extensively.
5. Excellent English skills.
6. Autonomous, structured, and highly collaborative mindset.
