Key Responsibilities
1. Independently negotiate and sign favorable service contracts with major domestic ports and agencies to ensure the smooth progress of cargo discharging, blending, storage and retrieval, supporting the company's strategic business in China.
2. Strictly comply with the company's governance and risk control requirements, including supplier qualification review, selection and award processes, to ensure compliance of cooperation.
3. Proactively provide port logistics solutions and negotiate with stakeholders to establish medium and long-term strategic cooperation, helping to achieve the company's strategic goals (involving an annual budget of US$350 million for port-related service procurement and US$4 million - US$8 million for agency service procurement).
4. Ensure all contracts effectively cover vessel berthing, ore blending and other port-related services required to guarantee the sustainable operation of the company's business in China.
5. Define processes and standards according to the needs of business units, follow internal processes to comply with company norms and compliance requirements, and track departmental key performance indicators with proper records.
6. Conduct the bidding process for service providers in strict accordance with the company's compliance requirements, select qualified suppliers, and be responsible for the entire process management including contract preparation, review, due diligence and internal approval.
7. Support the design, launch and procurement of new port-related service agreements and contract templates to adapt to new businesses and products; assist internal stakeholders in commercial reviews and negotiate with service providers to amend existing agreements and contracts.
8. Assist in promoting the implementation of contracts, properly record all service contracts into the company's database and maintain updates, prepare materials related to new contracts in accordance with company norms, and submit them to the Executive Board and Board of Directors for approval.
9. Support the preparation of all materials required for internal reports and presentations, sort out and ensure that key nodes such as contract validity periods are completed on time.
10. Follow up the renewal, extension of existing contracts and the signing process of new contracts to ensure timely completion in accordance with the established communication workflow.
